Sweet old fashioned story
I first read this years ago and decided to reread it when encouraging a couple other friends try it. Sunny and Ash provided lots of laughter and sweet moments and nostalgia of times past. The mystery adventure wasn't too hard to figure out, but the twists still kept me on my toes watching for them. Amy stole my heart every time she was around. Loved Sunny's strength and sassyness and stubbornness. She was able to hold her own at the same time be vulnerable. And she was strong when Ash needed someone to support him. Ash had many good qualities that redeemed him from the sometimes frustrating view of himself. Thank goodness Sunny saw through that and helped him get his head on straight.
