Love At Last by Claudia Connor

39028282

Oh!! Claudia Connor has a knack for gifting us with a story that starts at the beach and ends just as beautiful in real life (think, Worth the Fall). I fell in love quickly with this sweet, adorable story and it just kept getting stronger through to the end. I loved how Deacon was as a father and how he refused to give up on Clare. I loved Clare's heart and how she was willing to take a chance on Deacon no matter how much she was scared to.

If you love the easy kind of read but still has some good depth to it, if you love single-daddy story lines, if you need that sweet kinda book to get over a book hangover with (like I did!) this is one you want to grab and enjoy!

Worth the Fall by Claudia Connor

(The McKinney Brothers, #1)

I loved this book!!! Such a beautiful story of love, trust, faith, commitment, forgiveness, and forever!!

Matt stole my heart with the way he settled himself in Abby's and the kid's lives and loved them so completely. Abby endeared herself to me with how she was needing and wanting Matt, but yet still wanted to protect herself from more heartbreak. The kids were delightful and were a blast to read about.

I'm so looking forward to the next brother's story!!

Worth the Risk by Claudia Connor

(The McKinney Brothers, #2)

Claudia Connor has totally blown me away with her 2nd book in the McKinney Brothers series! You know you've encountered a talented author who can make you fall in love with a hero who isn't your usual type (suit-wearing business man).

Stephen and Hannah took me on a ride - so many highs and lows as we journey along their stories, where they've been, and what they're living through now to discover love and healing. I experienced highs with giggles and awes, I was crushed with tears and sobs - their story was both heartbreaking (their histories) and heartwarming (their finding each other).

I loved Hannah's soft, quiet strength. I swooned over Stephen's protective, encompassing, gentle (but tough) love.

I enjoyed getting to spend more time with the McKinney family and getting to meet all of Hannah's brothers.

This story is definitely worth the risk! Although, to meet the McKinneys, that isn't a risk at all, except to loose your heart to them!
