Rescuing Macie: A Delta Force Heroes Novella by Susan Stoker

Rescuing Macie: A Delta Force Heroes Novella

There's so much I adore about Macie and Colt's story: their connection, how they talked, how they gave to the other what they needed, how they fit together, the strength and comfort they gave each other.

I also loved all the secondary characters and the interaction and love shown there.

I appreciated how Colt was older (40s) and wiser, and Macie was true (with my personal experiences) with her anxiety issues and maturity.

Definitely not a story to be missed if you want a quick but deep story that gives you some amazing feels through their hea journey.

Paths by Brynne Asher

Paths

I enjoyed every moment of Grady and Maya's story, falling in love with them as they chased after their own love story. Grady swooped in and made himself a fortress for Maya, the safe haven she desperately needed till she could get steady again - even if she fought against it or questioned it at first. Maya fed Grady's heart, head, and spirit, providing him with the refuge and motivation to rebuild himself. Together they gave so much - and I soaked up every moment!

I'm quickly becoming a total fan-girl of Brynne Asher - all her stories, and (so far) especially her Killer's series, feed my heart and keep me coming back for more. I've found myself randomly picking up her books to reread bits and pieces of favorite scenes when I have just a few min to spend reading. When you don't want to leave an author's world? That's a sign of an epic storyteller!!

Until Twyla by Ella Fox

Until Twyla: Happily Ever Alpha World
Swoony cute

Again, I've found another Happily Ever Alpha/Until world book that gives me some of my favorite things in a swoony sweet story. Loved how Twyla and Jensen met, connected, and stuck together.

If you like a damsel in distress story, but one who isn't totally helpless and a hot cop who knows how to take charge, talk dirty, and love his girl, you don't want to miss this story.

Until Brandon: Happily Ever Alpha World by Natasha Madison

Until Brandon: Happily Ever Alpha World
Cute story to get some insta-love and swoony protection vibes from. I enjoyed getting to see Brandon get his hea girl and his own family. Aurora and her sister Cassie needed a family and a safe spot - which Brandon and all the Maysons could provide in spades!

Until Valerie by Jessica Marin

Until Valerie takes you off on a crazy awesome adventure filled with intense connections, twisted moments, and steamy heat.

I adored Valerie's mix of sweet and shy confidence. She came across as both strong but yet vulnerable - which is something I stinkin' love in my heroines.

Rowan has such quiet confidence that bloomed into intense protectiveness, melting my heart. He figured out she was his quickly and didn't fight it - just set about doing whatever it took to make her his and take care of her the way she needed.

I couldn't stop reading once I started -- Rowan and Valerie kept me mesmerized to the pages and I had to see them through to their hea. This is another amazing addition to the Happily Ever Alpha World and I'm utterly delighted I got to experience it.

Until Tennessee by Sarah ORourke

44891634

I adored this spin on several of my favorite tropes. Throw in a devoted and uber-protective mother, charmingly cute kids, a man who recognizes what he found and works to protect and keep them safe, little bit of drama and a whole lot of feels and you got a winner!

I loved the grit Clarity had in surviving her struggles and doing whatever it takes to take care of her babies. I loved how even though Marek felt the boom right away, he had the patience to see things through to the end and get his reward.

This is a fun, easy read that I didn't want to put down once I started.

Until the Tequila: A Killers Crossover Novella by Brynne Asher

44891630

.... that moment when you open a book to start reading and you're immediately falling head over heals into the story? Yeah, Evan and Mary's hea story hooked me hard, dragged me in and kept me enthralled from word one to the end.

While Mary and I don't share similar histories, I still totally connected with her just on her strength, stubbornness, and resilience. Her heart and inner beauty shown brightly no matter how much she felt tarnished at times. Evan (and everyone around Mary) saw that, and not only was drawn to that, but wanted to protect that.

Evan never gave up in his pursuit of Mary - she was going to be a part of his life, and he was going to make sure she was safely there, preferably wrapped in his arms. I adored his confidence, his determination, his respectfulness, and his heart - plus he had a few surprises up his sleeve that just really did it for me. haha!

I couldn't have asked for a better story for Evan and Mary, nor a better addition to the Killers series (which at the moment ranks as my top fav series by Brynne Asher), nor a more delightful addition to the Happily Ever After/Until world.

"...and Mary, thanks for a fun night. I thought I wanted you before, but now? I can't wait to make you mine. Be prepared."

Y'all.... be prepared for a story that'll not only entertain, but make you feel. I was giggling and heating up, and even had moments where the tears were streaming down. I'm already planning on when I can reread Vines and the rest of the Killers books through this one (including Until July from ARR as well) because I just don't want to say goodbye yet.

Until Mallory: A Happily Ever Alpha Novella by Ella Fox

Until Mallory: A Happily Ever Alpha Novella
So sweet

Tooth-achingly sweet and innocent girl meets up with a tough cop. Cute little novella to spend an hour or so with.

This moment, right before their first kiss - so so swoony: I want to take care of you, honey. I always have. This is a privilege for me-not some burden I don't want to take on.

Kinda reminds me of an Alexa Riley book with the sweet virgin being the obsession of an older man - with almost daddy-kink feels because she was SO innocent (but it still worked for me).

Until Mayhem by Layla Frost

43617759

Ophelia and Judge's (I stinkin' love their names) story gave me the feel-goods of a good old fashioned pirate bodice ripper - our hero who skirts the edge of good vs evil with his own code of honor saw his damsel (who, btw, wasn't truly in distress... well, not *all* the time), captured her, and claimed her as his, through whatever means necessary! And Ophelia was no fainting flower! They were the perfect challenge and compliment to the other.

With the exception of us not sharing a violent streak, I really connected to Ophelia - loved her mix of sweet and spicy, strength and femininity. She's strong enough to stick up for herself, but at the same time, smart enough to know how to choose her battles and accept help when it's needed.

Judge with his power, confidence, attitude, honor, and control had me deeply appreciating and admiring (read: almost coveting) his bad-man self (because he was definitely not a bad-boy in any way of thinking). I loved how he was observant of Ophelia and had a mind to her, protecting her, but at the same time, giving her everything she needed.

I loved how this was such a slow tension-filled build up for them but at the same time, they knew there was something huge (that BOOM) between them from the start. Combine that with some genuine laughter filled moments, a touch of a suspense plot line, great cameos from the Maysons and Nox, Until Mayhem quickly became one of my favorite LF stories that I look forward to revisiting again. Definitely worth the late nights and the stolen moments to experience!

Scary Hot by K.D. Robichaux

43562355

Oh, boy!! Scary Hot delivered all the feel goods with an attention-grabbing story line filled with some yummy spicy moments, bunches of hot swoony moments, and several laugh-out-loud moments. I didn't stop once I got started!! This little novella sure packed in a bunch of goodness!

I simply adored how Kayan was such a delightful mix of shy/sweet and strong/sassy - but in a charming way, not in a ott annoying way. She was so much fun!

And Z!? Omgoodness that man....he stole my heart. I so desperately wanted to be Kayan and be held and protected and cared for each time I needed it and have him at my back when I was ready to stand strong myself - just like he gave to her. Z learned what she needed and filled her life with goodness. Swoony!!

I haven't read Until July yet, where Z and Kayan are the best friends of July and Wes, but reading this story makes me want to go dive into Until July to get where they were first introduced, and then reread Scary Hot just to fully experience all their goodness.

This is a wonderful addition to the Happily Ever Alpha/Until series world and I'm so glad I got to experince Z and Kayan's story.
